Our story
The story of MITHIEUX TP began in 1955, driven by the ambition of Fernand MITHIEUX, then site manager on the Alby-sur-Chéran bridge. After an initial partnership in masonry, he founded SARL Fernand MITHIEUX in 1958, based in Montmélian, and devoted himself fully to public works, a field to which he was deeply committed.
In 1962, the company experienced its first phase of rapid growth thanks to securing a framework agreement with EDF in Annecy. Within a few weeks, the workforce jumped from 10 to 60 employees. Convinced by the city's potential, Fernand Mithieux decided to establish a permanent presence there. The Seynod depot was built in 1966, followed by the offices in 1980.
In 1987, Fernand handed over the reins of the company to his son. At 22, Jean-Marc took over the management of a company with 35 employees and a turnover of 3 million euros.
A new chapter began in 2000 with the arrival of Charles Ancelin as site manager. He quickly distinguished himself through his commitment and deep attachment to the founding values of Mithieux TP. Appointed managing director in 2008, he supported and accelerated the company's growth.
In 2017, a new milestone was reached: Charles ANCELIN became Chairman and CEO. His arrival at the head of the company marked a strategic turning point, combining continuity and modernization, and propelling MITHIEUX TP into a new dimension.
Today, MITHIEUX TP has over 200 employees working on projects throughout France, all committed to the same high standards of quality and precision. Our flexible and responsive organization allows us to operate in diverse environments – urban, rural, or technically demanding – both in mainland France and its overseas territories.
